About the Your Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Programme The Your Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Programme aims to connect young people’s interests, talents, and skills with meaningful career opportunities in the green economy. As countries and communities respond to climate change, environmental degradation, and sustainable development challenges, green jobs are becoming increasingly important. These careers can contribute to environmental protection, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, climate adaptation, waste management, and other areas supporting a greener future. The programme builds on the Ban Ki-moon Foundation’s Your Future in Green Jobs Online Course, helping participants translate their learning into practical experience and career development. Through structured workshops and tailored mentorship, participants will explore green career pathways, strengthen their professional skills, and develop projects that respond to challenges in their local communities. The initiative also encourages young people to become active contributors to sustainable development by applying their knowledge to real-world problems.
