Applications are open to Final year PhD students Young investigators engaged in active research Medical doctors enrolled in postgraduate medical fellowship programs Applicants must be primarily affiliated with African universities or research institutions, although collaborative projects involving partners within or outside Africa are welcome and encouraged. Sanctuary Scholarship Full Tuition Waiver The University of Glasgow has established the Sanctuary Scholarship to support students with refugee or asylum seeker status currently residing in the UK. This scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver along with additional financial support for living and study costs, enabling recipients to focus on their academic and personal development. It is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate taught students starting their studies in September 2026/27.
