Creativity Pioneers Fund 2026 Open Call: €5,000 Grants for Creative Social Impact Organisations

Application Deadline

May 1, 2026

Description

The Moleskine Foundation Creativity Pioneers Fund 2026 Open Call is now officially open, inviting nonprofit organisations worldwide to apply for funding that supports creativity-driven social change. This global opportunity is designed for organisations using culture, art, and innovation to address pressing social and environmental challenges within their communities. With applications open until 24 April 2026 at 17:00 (CEST), this call provides selected organisations with financial support, global visibility, and access to a growing network of changemakers. About the Creativity Pioneers Fund The Creativity Pioneers Fund invests in organisations that place creativity at the core of social transformation. Managed by the Moleskine Foundation, the fund aims to mobilize a global ecosystem of creative changemakers working toward a more just, inclusive, and equitable world. Rather than focusing solely on project outputs, the fund emphasizes long-term impact, innovative thinking, and community-driven approaches. It supports organisations that challenge conventional models and explore bold, unconventional solutions to societal issues. What Selected Organisations Receive Successful applicants will benefit from more than just financial support. The fund offers: An unearmarked grant of €5,000, allowing organisations flexibility in how funds are used Access to a global network of Creativity Pioneers Opportunities for additional funding, mentorship, and learning programmes Peer-to-peer exchange and collaboration opportunities Increased visibility and exposure within the global creative ecosystem This micro-grant serves as a gateway to long-term collaboration and growth, rather than a one-time funding opportunity. Who Can Apply? The 2026 Open Call is open to: Legally registered nonprofit organisations (from any country) Organisations with an active bank account in their name Groups that place creativity at the center of their mission Eligible organisations should demonstrate a clear commitment to: Driving social transformation through creative practices Supporting disadvantaged or marginalized communities Engaging primarily with youth aged 16–27 Importantly, the fund welcomes small, grassroots, and emerging organisations, meaning a large track record is not required. What the Fund Prioritises The Creativity Pioneers Fund seeks organisations that: Address complex social and environmental challenges Operate with an intersectional and hybrid approach Focus on long-term systemic change, not just short-term outputs Are deeply rooted in local contexts while maintaining global relevance Inspire and empower young creative changemakers The selection process values organisations that demonstrate clarity of purpose, authenticity, and innovative thinking. What Is Not Supported The fund clearly outlines what it does not prioritize. These include: Projects focused on art for art’s sake without social impact Traditional NGOs using conventional or rigid approaches Informal or inconsistent initiatives lacking structure or long-term vision This ensures that funding is directed toward organisations with intentional, impactful, and sustainable models. Application Process Applications are open from 30 March 2026 to 24 April 2026 (17:00 CEST) and must be submitted through the Idea360 platform. Unlike traditional grants, the application process is designed to be: Inclusive and accessible Focused on the organisation as a whole, rather than a single project Encouraging of storytelling and authentic narratives Applicants are invited to go beyond standard grant writing and clearly communicate: Their mission and vision What drives their work Their impact within their communities What makes their approach unique Final selections will be announced in September 2026, with funding disbursed by December 2026. Tips for a Strong Application To stand out in the selection process, organisations should: Tell a compelling and authentic story Highlight their creative approach to solving real-world problems Demonstrate community impact and engagement Show clarity and consistency in their mission and activities Emphasize both local relevance and global potential A strong application focuses less on technical jargon and more on purpose, innovation, and impact. Why This Opportunity Matters The Creativity Pioneers Fund represents a shift in how funding is approached—placing value on creativity as a driver of systemic change. It recognizes that artists, cultural practitioners, and creative organisations play a critical role in shaping more inclusive and resilient societies. By supporting grassroots organisations and fostering global connections, the fund helps amplify diverse voices and transformative ideas that might otherwise go unnoticed. Final Thoughts The Creativity Pioneers Fund 2026 Open Call is an exceptional opportunity for nonprofit organisations to access funding, build global networks, and scale their impact. With its flexible funding model and emphasis on creativity, the programme empowers organisations to innovate, collaborate, and lead change in their communities. Organisations committed to using creativity for social good are strongly encouraged to apply before the 24 April 2026 deadline.
