Funding for Two-Year Master’s Programmes For programmes lasting two years, students may receive a second-year scholarship equal to the first year. However, continuation of the scholarship requires students to meet academic performance conditions during the first year. To qualify for second-year funding, students must achieve: An average grade of at least 7 out of 10 At least 50% of required European Credits (ECTS) by the third quartile of the first academic year Failure to meet these requirements may result in the scholarship not being renewed. Additional Funding: Kipaji Scholarship Students applying for the University of Twente Scholarship may also be considered for an additional funding opportunity known as the Kipaji Scholarship. The UTS is not available for: Students from EU or EEA countries Dutch citizens or current University of Twente students Students who have already completed a degree at the university Pre-Master programmes Master’s programmes offered by the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) Students who qualify for Dutch statutory tuition fees Applicants who later become eligible for statutory tuition during their studies must inform the scholarship coordinator, as the scholarship may be cancelled.
