Fellowship Overview Mira Fellows receive bespoke support tailored to their project needs, which may include: Project Development: Refining prototypes, formulating visions, and creating actionable plans. Funding Support: Assistance with micro-grants, donor connections, and fundraising strategies. Operational Guidance: Strengthening go-to-market strategies, volunteer networks, and resource management. Community Engagement: Building strong peer networks that accelerate ideas through collaboration and mutual support. The fellowship prioritizes sustained engagement, helping Fellows at every stage of their journey—from ideation to execution. Core Components of the Fellowship Mira Fellowship provides a variety of tools and resources designed to support systemic change: A Toolbox for Change: Practical tools in reframing, prototyping, community building, and storytelling to guide project development. A Generous Community: Fellows gain access to a cofounder-like network that supports operational and personal growth, emphasizing collaboration over competition. Coaching: Personalized mentorship from seasoned entrepreneurs in for-profit and non-profit sectors, with alumni frequently returning as coaches. Summits: Annual in-person gatherings to focus on areas such as fundraising, storytelling, or growth strategy, providing both learning and social connection. Cohort Sprint: An intensive collaborative experience where Fellows stress-test ideas, forge partnerships, and advance projects while building enduring relationships. Application Requirements Applicants are required to submit a comprehensive package that demonstrates both personal commitment and project potential: Video Statement (2 minutes): Share a simple story that illustrates narrative skills and perspective. Resume (PDF): Detailing work history and relevant experience. Written Materials (Single PDF): Your Idea (500 words): Description of the project and its potential impact. Impact Visual (250 words): A visualized representation of the world after project implementation. Resources & Milestones (500 words): Current resources, needs, and key milestones.
