The seminar will be led by Nadje Al-Ali and Lingzhen Wang of Brown University. It will examine how political economy, geopolitics and sociocultural formations shape inequalities across national borders, while exploring feminist histories, political movements and alternative forms of solidarity. Particular attention will be given to Asia as an important geopolitical context for rethinking transnational feminisms.
