Position Overview Job Title: Project Management Support Specialist (Home-Based / Copenhagen-linked) Grade: IPSA-10 Contract Type: International Personnel Service Agreement Duration: 1 year Application Deadline: 22 May 2026 Location: Home-based (with linkage to Copenhagen, Denmark office) Practice Area: Health Language Requirement: Fluency in English (French/Spanish/Portuguese desirable) Programme Context: Scaling Smart Health Systems Initiative The role is anchored in UNDP’s Scaling Smart Health Systems (SHS) initiative, a flagship programme designed to transform healthcare delivery through integrated systems innovation. Key focus areas include: Strengthening fragile health systems in developing contexts Expanding digital health platforms Improving energy access for health facilities Enhancing vaccine cold-chain reliability Supporting climate-smart health infrastructure The initiative aims to scale proven solutions across at least 20 countries, leveraging innovative financing and cross-sector partnerships. Key Responsibilities The Project Management Support Specialist will play a central role in operational delivery, coordination, and partnership management. 1. Project Implementation and Oversight The incumbent will: Ensure timely delivery of project outputs and results Support preparation and revision of project documents Monitor implementation progress and produce reports Track budgets, expenditures, and financial performance Maintain project systems and risk logs 2. Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement The role involves active coordination with donors and partners to: Strengthen engagement with development partners Support health systems cooperation across UN agencies Contribute to resource mobilization efforts Participate in technical working groups and coordination meetings 3. Country Office Support and Technical Guidance The specialist will: Provide advisory support to UNDP country offices Assist in designing scalable health systems interventions Ensure alignment with UNDP rules and donor agreements Promote integration across health, energy, climate, and governance programmes 4.
