Internship Overview and Key Details The internship is fully home-based, allowing successful candidates to contribute remotely while collaborating with international teams and experts across multiple regions. Position Information Position Title: Digital Transformation & Knowledge Management Intern Organisation: UNDP Location: Home-Based Duration: 6 Months Employment Type: Full-Time Internship Practice Area: SDG Finance Agency Bureau: Bureau for Policy and Programme Support Application Deadline: 26 May 2026 The intern will work under the direct supervision of the Global Head of Financial Policy & Regulatory Affairs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The selected intern will support the redesign and optimisation of workplace collaboration systems through the use of digital tools, AI-assisted processes, and workflow automation. Key responsibilities include: Digital Workflow Optimisation Developing operational dashboards using: Excel Microsoft Lists Power BI Creating templates and AI prompts for: Briefing notes Email drafts Stakeholder updates Weekly reports Meeting summaries Knowledge Management Organising and improving: Microsoft Teams structures SharePoint repositories Information accessibility systems Preparing knowledge repositories for AI integration and improved document retrieval Automation and Process Improvement Automating meeting support functions such as: Agenda preparation Action tracking Summary generation Pre-reading compilation Mapping internal workflows and identifying: Automation opportunities Efficiency gaps Process bottlenecks Training and Digital Adoption Supporting colleagues through: Training materials User guides Instructional presentations Digital onboarding support Strategic Support Assisting in preparing presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership on workplace digital transformation initiatives The role combines operational support, innovation management, and strategic digital transformation exposure. Required Skills and Competencies UNDP seeks candidates with strong analytical, organisational, and communication abilities. Required Technical Skills Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Suite Power Automate Desirable Skills Power Apps Power BI Tableau Python R programming SQL Process mapping tools such as: Visio Miro Applicants should ideally possess experience gained through: Academic research University projects Internships Process automation assignments Language Requirements Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Strong professional communication skills are essential due to the collaborative and international nature of the role.
